Sinopsis:

Basado en una historia de Simon McBurney. En esta última desventura, el Sr. Bean, ese inadaptado e inarticulado al que parecen perseguir los reveses y la mala suerte, decide irse de vacaciones a la Costa Azul, lo que da pie a una aventura europea de proporciones cinematográficas. Cansado del triste tiempo londinense, Mr. Bean hace la maleta, coge la cámara y se va a Cannes en busca de sol y arena. Ah, las vacaciones... Pero el viaje no sale como está planeado ya que el patoso Mr. Bean sufre una serie de contratiempos y coincidencias más o menos afortunadas lo bastante estrambóticas como para ser el tema de una auténtica película vanguardista. Convertido en un supuesto secuestrador y en un aclamado realizador, no le quedará más remedio que explicar la destrucción que ha causado a su paso por el sur de Francia, acompañado del precoz hijo de un cineasta rumano y de una aspirante a actriz. ¿Le detendrán los gendarmes o se llevará la Palma de Oro?.

In his latest misadventure, Mr. Bean--the nearly wordless misfit who seems to be followed by a trail of pratfalls and hijinks--goes on holiday to the French Riviera and becomes ensnared in a European adventure of cinematic proportions. Tired of the dreary, wet London weather, Bean packs up his suitcase and camcorder to head to Cannes for some sun on the beach. But his trip doesn't go as smoothly as he had hoped when the bumbling Bean falls face first into a series of mishaps and fortunate coincidences, far-fetched enough to make his own avant-garde film. Wrongly thought to be both kidnapper and acclaimed filmmaker, he has some serious explaining to do after wreaking havoc across the French countryside and arriving at his vacation spot with a Romanian filmmaker's precocious son and an aspiring actress in tow. Will Bean be arrested by the gendarmes or end up winning the Palme d⿿Or?
